Climate change is a change in the distribution of weather patterns when that change is an inconsistency, Climate change may refer to a change in average weather conditions, or in the time variation of weather within the context of longer-term average conditions (Wikipedia, n.d.). Climate change has always been a natural cycle over the existence of earth, this cycle gave the earth various ice ages and droughts. Climate change first became a problem during the Industrial Revolution. It is difficult to particularise a specific time in history when climate change arose as an issue, however, many philosophers believe that it was during the industrial revolution and in 1830 which demonstrates the magnitude that human activity plays on climate change. These extreme changes of temperature are centuries apart but now it looks like mankind is accelerating the problem. NASA scientists believe that global temperatures, surface, and atmosphere will continue to rise in the next decades to come. They say this as to effects of greenhouse gases, it may be a natural stage but humans are accelerating the process. Frost-free seasons (Spring and Summer) will lengthen, in the past summer and spring have been increasing in the time since the 1980’s. Precipitation patterns will change, Average precipitation has increased since the early 1900’s and some countries are being affected more than others. Droughts and heat waves will be much more common, Heat waves will be much more intense and cold waves will be less intense and less common. Hurricanes will become stronger and more intense, the intensity and frequency of category 4 and 5 hurricanes, they have all been more common since the 1980’s. (NASA, n.d.) When discussing climate change a question that is most often asked is what causes climate change. Second to this is whether or not humans have contributed to its growing complexity. The scientific evidence suggests that humans are contributed to climate change exceedingly and through a variety of ways. Clean Climate Literacy and Energy Awareness Network suggests that the basic physics of heat-trapping gases and an exponential rise in population and energy consumption, humans have become a force of nature. Human activities such as the combustion of fossil fuels alter the climate system dramatically. In addition to the combustion of fossil fuels is the human-driven changes to land use and land cover. This includes deforestation, urbanization, and shifts in vegetation patterns which result in changes to the reflectivity of the Earth surface. A change in the earth surface results in exceedingly dangerous changes to the natural water cycle and urban heat. Human interaction with climate change is not all bad though, as we are the primary cause of the issue, the solution is also within our domain.

Biodiversity is the variety of living things on earth or in a particular habitat or biome. On Earth, there is an extensive biodiversity incorporating humans, nature, animals, and all other living organisms. Biodiversity is what makes human life possible. Biodiversity includes the number of species of plants, animals, and microorganisms, the enormous diversity of genes in these species and the different ecosystems on the planet. A smaller biodiversity can make the food chain much smaller, less plants to convert carbon dioxide to oxygen, this brings down overall oxygen in the earth’s atmosphere and the human race and other species can die off. Biodiversity is central to ensuring that the Earth circulates. Without living organisms such as animals there would be no food for those who sit above in the food chain. Similarly, without plants and smaller ecosystems animals would be without a food source.

What animals are more likely to be affected by climate change?
Mainly those species that live in snow biomes due to climate change melting ice caps in their home. At this rate Antarctica will be completely melted and will be in water, some of those species can swim for a long amount of time, penguins, cod, flatfish, salmon, and trout. But those animals that cannot swim or fly for long distances will be doomed and their species will lower in population or go extinct, lemmings, voles, caribou, arctic hares, and squirrels. They could all go extinct. An snow biome is where all surroundings are covered in snow and the temperature are extremely low.

The natural greenhouse effect makes a small layer in the atmosphere that holds solar rays and lets them go but humans have created all of the machines that causes pollution, this pollution goes into the atmosphere and thickens this layer in the atmosphere and keeps the solar rays trapped for much longer. This in turn makes the atmosphere and surface of the earth much hotter.
