Essay: Militant Islam

“I may not be where I want to be but I thank God I am not where I used to be.” This is the mindset of all the Israeli Jews who have only seen suppression and discrimination from the people who support Anti–Semitism. Religion has always played a major role not only in the Middle Eastern conflicts but in all the conflicts going on in the world. Right from the World War 1 to the various ongoing conflicts such as the Yemeni civil war, Israeli Palestinian war or the Syrian civil war al arose due to religion. Similarly the Delegate feels that some Islamic ideals, particularly the concept of the Sharia Law, is misunderstood by many people in today’s world. If understood and applied correctly, Sharia is in fact an eminently flexible, dynamic jurisprudence system that is fully compatible with modern legal frameworks and contexts. As we know it is human nature that all the things we oppose we tend to find flaws in them ignoring the fact that the thing might be beneficial for us hence all those who do not believe in Islam, Sharia law they disregard it and consider it to be unrealistic and inhumane paying no heed to the fact that this very law has been propitious for many nations in the world who have religiously followed it. Today the world, people of Israel pray for peace, but our hopes for peace are in danger because if all of us take a glance around us we get to see the Islamic militants on march. Actually it’s not militants it’s not even Islam, its militant Islam. And typically its first victims are not only other Muslims, but Christians, Jews, Kurds etc. No creed, no faith, no ethnic group is beyond its sight. Henceforth it’s rapidly spreading in all parts of the world. Because of its brutality and utter disdain for diplomacy, ISIS has succeeded to make enemies of almost every country in Middle East, and in fact most of the globe. According to ISIS’s interpretation of the Koran, its fighters are on for a mythical confrontation with “crusader armies” – which is historically referred to Christian soldiers, but according to current scenario it probably means the west – in the northern Syrian town of Dabiq.
Israel as a nation has always supported the Jews and there is no doubt that Israel is land of Jews itself. Anybody trying to capture the land of Israel will face severe atrocities. For Israeli’s Jews are the first priorities and will always remain one. Since ages Palestine has remained in conflict with Israel due to the reason that Palestinians have always been against the Jews therefore leading their own country and Israel into distress. Israel believes that Hamas is being supported by Palestine so that they can capture the land of Jews. Sharia law is given the utmost importance in Israel and it would be treated with the same respect it deserves. People might find it to be cruel and disregard it but it the one of the finest method of jurisdiction and justice in today’s world. So Israel government would whole heartedly follow Sharia law and as the people living in Israel have been abiding by it they would be continuing to do so. Israeli government won’t mold its governing policies according to the ideology of other governments or anyone else in the world. Also to bring into the committee’s notice Israel is against the ISIS. The delegate’s nation also feels that ISIS is a very harmful non state actor which does not deserve to be dealt with peace. All the destruction it has caused in the world has left people shattered and broken into pieces. One of the major reasons for people suffering in the Middle East is the ISIS by killing millions it has left the population to cry. So the delegate believes there should be mercy in the process of dealing with the ISIS.
The delegate of Israel would like to suggest the following solutions for the ongoing conflicts:
Urges The international committee to recognize the violations done by ISIS and all the crimes committed by them. Hence take strict action against it;
Proclaims Israel to be a non conflict zone and requests Palestine to end the ongoing conflicts with a peaceful note.
At the end the delegate would like to end by quoting,
Burn my flag, Steal my land, Boycott my products, Refuse to recognize me, Create lies about me, Try to exterminate me, Try to rewrite my history, Deny my right to pray on my own mount of land But I am here to stay
