Team Stark, Team or Team Cap DC: here a list of reasons not to miss one of the biggest film events of the year.
Now is the inevitable moment, the moment of truth. Captain America: Civil War has just been released in theaters and Marvel has a great responsibility on their shoulders. Regardless of the hangover or ecstasy that could have left us Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, this production a year ago sparked the controversy by great successes and the terrible failures that gave audiences with Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Now, Marvel is obliged to make Civil War to become a great success.
Some have serious doubts about the decision to go or not to see this tape, it has not been a month since the fight between the Dark Knight and Man of Steel when we have a new clash of titans on the big screen. For those who are not convinced yet, or if you seek some additional reasons to reinforce their conviction, have drawn up a short list of five reasons why no one should miss Captain America: Civil War.
Without a pecking order or importance in specific and free of spoilers, at least to the point five, playing a theme that has been shown in recent trailers, here the list:
Marvel has something to say
Just when we thought this vein was giving serious signs of Deadpool wear left in clear that superhero movies still have much to tell, with approaches from the mold, fresh, irreverent, faithful to the original material without feeling obliged to undergo chronological sequence to tell his story.
Production of 20th Century Fox injected vitality to this kind of franchise, but Marvel has yet the act of showing any kind of innovation or renovation in style. Age of Ultron was saturated elements while Ant-Man was an entertaining product but straight out of the world and style of Edgar Wright.
Civil War will be the perfect opportunity for the producer to renew their vows and show a fresh face, paying tribute to one of the most popular comics of the last decades sagas.
Initiates Phase Three of the MCU
Marvel broke the scheme had raised with phase one, Avengers: Age of Ultron was no tape in charge of giving closure to the second stage of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), but Ant-Man, and now Captain America: Civil War da start this new chapter in the saga.
From this perspective the film has an enormous responsibility to lay the foundations of the plot and the conflict that we will be spun along other films, among which are Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Dr. Strange and Spider-Man: Homecoming, of way to the Avengers expected: Infinity War.
The need for the franchise, as well as the point at which stands forces the Civil War history is something big and disrruptivo, the consequences of dragging on the following five films.
Marvel is obliged to bet big.
In the Russo brothers trust
Anthony and Joe Russo brothers surprised everyone with his fast-paced and full of action approach with Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Convert to Steve Rogers in a steroids version of Jason Bourne was a move that few saw coming conviertieron superhero and one of the most interesting of the Marvel Universe.
From the production of series of cult TV as Arrested Development and Community, these guys proved to have an unusual understanding of rhythm, focus and narrative of a story based on a universe of comics, they feel as fresh as it was in his Joss Whedon moment.
The Russo brothers took everyone by surprise with The Winter Soldier and now the expectation around them is much higher. Marvel seems to have you absolute faith, and that will also be responsible for directing Avengers: Infinity War Parts I and II.
This adaptation is a response to Dawn of Justice
Russo were the brothers themselves who revealed a few days ago that Marvel Studios decided to start with the production of Captain America: Civil War as a response to the imminent filming of Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Kevin Feige and filmmakers, following the announcement of Warner, concluded that they should do something challenging and to break with the structure of what has been done in this area. Under such a scenario, the Civil War would seek to be a turning point in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It is a daring adaptation by nature not leave happy hardcore comics fans; in the comic strip it was a massive event involving a huge number of characters, under a detonating and completely different motivation, but the essence of the conflict seems to remain intact.
You know who
This is a minimum spoiler that has already been addressed in the latest promotional videos: in this film Spider-Man appears, and each new sequence shown seems to suggest that their participation will be much more widespread than just a cameo.
Civil War represent the return of this beloved character to his production house, integrated into a huge and complex cinematic universe.
Marvel care with millimetric detail trepamuros intervention, that’s a fact, and it could be worth the full price of the movie ticket.
