..Mental health is our emotional,psychological,and well being.It affects how we think,feel,and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress,relate to others,and make choices.Mental Health is important at every stage of life,from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.
Over the course of your life,if you experience mental health problems,your thinking,,mood,and behaviour could be affected.Many factors contribute to mental health problems including;
Biological factors,such as genes or brain chemistry.
Life experiences,such as trauma or abuse.
Family history of mental health problems.
Mental health problems are common but help is available.People with mental health problems can get better and many recover completely.

Their are lots of people who suffer from mental health here are some warnings and signs I researched on.If you notice some people having;low or no energy,feeling helpless or hopeless,fighting a lot with peers and family,drugs,feelings of anger worry,scared etc. These are some of the signs of discovering early mental sickness.
How many people suffering from mental health?
The factors and figures are around mental health are alarming.
About a quarter of the population will experience some kind of mental health problems in the course of a year,mixed with axiety and depression the most common mental health disorder in Britain.
Women are more likely to have been treated for a mental health problem than men and about 10%of children have a mental health problem at any other time.
Depression affects 1 in 5 older people.
Suicide rates show that British men three times as likely to die by suicide than british women and self harm statistics for the UK show one of the highest rate in Europe:400 per 100,000 population.
Only 1 in 10 prisoners has no mental health disorder.
Conditions or Problems of mental health?
Mental health problems range from the worries we are all experience as part of everyday life to serious long-term conditions.The majority of people who experience mental health problems can get over them or learn to live with them,especially if they get help early on.
Mental health problems are usually defined and classified to enable professionals to refer to people for appropriate care and treatment.But some diagnoses are controversial and there is much concern in the mental health field that people are too often treated according to or described by their label.This can have a profound effect on their quanlity of life.Nevertheless,diagnoses remain the most usual way of dividing and classifying symptoms into groups.
Most mental health symptoms have traditionally been divided into groups called either 'neurotic'or 'psychotic'symptoms. 'Neurotic'covers those symptoms which can be regarded as severe forms of 'normal' emotional experiences such as depression,anxiety or panic Conditions formerly referred to as 'neuroses'are now more frequently called 'common mental health problems'.
Less common are 'psychotic'symptoms,which interfere with a person's perception of reality,and may include hallucinations such as seeing,hearing,smelling or feeling things that no one else can.
Mental health problems are very common.About a quarter of the population experience some kind of mental health problem in any one year.
Anxiety and depression are the most common problems,with around 1 in 10 people affected at any other time.Anxiety and depression can be severe and long-lasting and have a big impact on peoples ability to get on with life.
Between one and two in every 100 people experience a severe mental illness,such as bi-polar disorder or schizophrenia,and have periods when they lose touch with reality.People affected may hear voices,see things no one else sees,hold unusual or irrational beliefs,feels unrealistic powerful,or read particular meanings into everyday events.
Public figures who have mental health problems;
Buzz Aldin, one of Americas most famous astrounauts,flew to the moon in 1969,but later suffered from depression and alchoholism. He worked his way through , and even served as chairman of the National Mental Health Association.
Performer Adom Ant says had a 'lifelong battle against manic depression'.He has also been hospitalized for treatment of bipolar disorder.
Ludwig van Beethoven experienced bipolar disorder,as documented in the book'the Key to Genius :Manic Depression and the Creative life.'
Actor Marion Brando experienced chronic depression throughout his life.
Earl Campbell,former football pro and current business owner,documented his personal struggle in 'The Earl Campbell Story:A football Greats Battle with Panic disorder.'
Jim Carrey openly discussed his history of depression and being on Prozac'60 minutes'in 2004.
Dick Clark talked about his experienced with depression in the book,'On the Edge of Darkness' by Kathy Cronkite.

For people with mental health problems;If you have,or believe you may have,a mental health problem,it is helpful to talk about these issues with others.learn more about building a strong support system and developing a recovery plan.
