Nuclear energy has became a growing discussion in today’s era. The termination of World War 2 remarked the beginning of the atomology. We know that atoms are present everywhere and everything is made up of atoms. Atoms are the small particles present in the molecules to make up solids, liquids and gases. Atoms itself are made up of molecules which are Protons, Electrons and Neutrons. The nucleus of an atom is surrounded by the electrons, and the nucleus of an atom contains protons and neutrons. The bonds which holds the nucleus together for a tremendous energy and this energy is known to be as Nuclear energy which is used for electricity.

In addition to this, science and technology plays a vital role in nuclear energy as it advocates sustainable development by improving the quality and health of every individual’s life. Nuclear medicine, food preservation and safety, environmental changes and etc. are some varied applications by which it is done.

Atomic nuclear weapons are such devices which works by combining chemical explosives, nuclear fission and fusion. During the period of 1945-1964, countries such as United states, United kingdom,USSR, France became the nuclear powers and conducted various nuclear tests in all global environment. In continuation, Tsar Bomba, known as the kings of bombs, one of the most powerful nuclear weapon which was ever tested and explode. It had a yield of 50-58 megatons. This nuclear weapon was detonated by USSR on Hiroshima.

Moving on to the next, Ivy Mike, the device tested by United states on the Elugelab Island, Enewetak Atoll on 1 November, 1952. It was the world’s largest hydrogen bomb which contains 10.4 megatons yield. The device detonated in this test is denoted as ‘Sausage’. The Elugelab Island was vaporised when the detonation of this nuclear bomb occurred as it was very powerful.

Coming on to the other test, Trinity which was first detonated in New Mexico at the Alamogordo Test Range. It was nicknamed the “gadget”, and was the plutonium-based implosion device which contained 19 kilotons.

Due to these scientific tests of atomic nuclear weapons it leads to the health and thermal effects. These effects are such as : Blast – one of the health effect. The nuclear explosions which produces air – blast effect which can injure human’s eardrum or lungs at a high speed. Then we can say about the radiations. Radiation is the transmission of energy through space or a medium in the form of waves or particles. Thermal radiation – it is an thermal effect. Basically a single nuclear explosion which can cause fire and burning of skin. Inspite of these issues, there is also a foremost issue towards the global temperature which are clashing because of these tests. Climate change is also the other problem by which is leading to the death of living organisms.

The global environment those are atmosphere, marine and underground, nuclear test was conducted everywhere. These nuclear test have also effected the global surroundings of every individual. According to the research, the findings state that 25% (530 nuclear tests) were been conducted in the atmosphere and few in marine and 75% underground which means (1517 tests). So by this data we could analyse that the effect of nuclear weapons was more in underground compared to the other environments. This means that the health effects of many human might have been effected.

Nuclear safety and security has an ordinary purpose for the environment, society and the protection of humans. In this particular case, this can be achieved by preventing the release of radioactive material which is the nuclear weapons. And for our safety there is a precaution which is an electronic device known as permissive action link. This device uses a two-man rule in which two correct codes shall be inserted in order to arm the bomb and this makes it impossible for an individual to  detonate the weapon. This is a great advantage of the technology which is saving every individual’s life by this device.

To sum up with the armed knowledge, we shall have an ultimate goal to prevent our world from such science and technology and this can make up to a better world. After such investigations, scientist have signed an open letter for banning the nuclear weapons. Although, they were the ones to create these weapons for mass destruction but this has lead to a negative side of the weapons.

According to me the decision of the scientist shall be considered and the government should work up it so that it improves the health and thermal effect of an individual.

Nuclear weapons have long-term disastrous  power. This is why the governments are trying  to control the science and technology used in  the nuclear-bomb-making and reduce the  collection of nuclear weapons situated during  the Cold War. Another reason is because of the  nuclear tests conducted by North Korea and  other countries draw such a powerful response  from the international community. The Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings may be decades past, but those fearful images of that critical morning of the month August burns as clear and bright as ever.
