Task 2
INTRODUCTION
Recently the appropriate skills if the foundation of successful teamwork, both personally and professionally. However, we communicate with much more than words. In fact, research shows that the majority of competencies is born from teamwork. In general, a team is ‘a small number of people with complementary skills who are committed to common purposes. The capability and teamwork skill most challenge discipline in the university education life are principally engineering students by Hong Kong and Spain.
It aims to encourage a range of skills, and we mean transversal competencies when the skill may be common to several situations. The ability to understand and use capability skills in teamwork is a powerful tool that will help to connect with others, express what you mean, navigate challenging situations, and build a better relationship between students. The concurrent both paper had focused the competencies required teamwork amongst student. Concurrent competencies and collaboration have revealed the applying the said discipline through design, a method such as qualitative, quantity and evaluations. Teamwork skill had built upon knowledge attitudes, skills and processes, the development of cooperation requires instructional practices such as cognitive apprenticeship method that combine modelling, explanation, and practice in a relevant context, feedback and experimentation applied to the partnership.
Tentatively students, must understand principles and attributes of effective’s teamwork, practise skills, receive feedback on group work and adopt practices of self-monitoring and self-regulation in their teams. To execute these critical competencies development, we must build teachers capacity in the competence oriented education. Therefore skill works and Teamwork development added.
COMPARATIVE REVIEW – METHODOLOGY
This paper intends to explore strengthen and weaknesses of teamwork, according to the engineering students in Spain and Hong Kong. The overview survey presents learning competencies, learning, collaboration and assessment. The study focuses on collaboration, and the results of the survey were selected accordingly, which is a category of the motivation of learning, interpersonal skills, the impact of assessment. In the end, students have the opportunity to point out positive and negative topics and also to give suggestion to improve the project experiences. Therefore methodology uses a quantitative and qualitative instrument to collect the opinion and perception by writing and discussion in an open and informal environment to express without fear of repressions.
Advantages of learning methodology are as follows:-
‘ Teamwork
‘ Time management
‘ Working together to achieve individual goals
‘ Development of social competencies
‘ Project Dynamic
METHODS
Competencies are Comprehensive knowledge of power in accomplishment desire of proficiency. Today in Europe the competence-based education has been execution and one of the principal thesis. As mentioned earlier the key elements of Transversal competences has segregate to complex competencies that are skills, knowledge, problem solving, cognitive (Skill and Attitude) and Social dimension.
Moreover, this implementation in higher education for engineering students to improve the employability, to respond more efficiently to the labour market whereby Teamwork is co-operation between those who are working together on a task. There are few methods used. Probably, an engineering education, focusing the group study to carried out an assessment of teamwork through employ self-evaluation. It is proof that highly valued on design concepts.
Meanwhile, the teamwork models and framework are well-structured cooperative learning group can be differentiated to have five elements that are positive independent, face to face interaction, individual accountability, teamwork skill and grouping processing. In the other part, framework and methodology divided to teamwork development and Methodology. Teamwork developments have trust building and active listening and the lead hypothesis of teamwork awareness such as systematic intervention in enhancing and conception of partnership. Subsequently methodology consists of Pre and post-test in the student knowledge, self-assessment on team and peers, faculty assessment, focus group interviews and conflict resolution styles also result.
Apart of the research, it showed a positive impact on teamwork skill through systematic intervention and identified both behaviours in a team environment.
RELATIVE
In addition to the scenario, the relationship used to determine the contribution of variances between difference developments of level in a dimension that shape and analysed the transversal competence, such as gender, study program, year of study. Even through in the same engineering field but different programs.
Students of engineering, their perception of analysis and results are as follows.
FIGURE 1 – Development of Skills
FIGURE 2 ‘ TEAMWORK
FIGURE 3 ‘ STUDENT ASSESSMENT
Strengthen
In general, students in Hong Kong and Spain are quite active in regards of benefit as learning methodology as seen in figure 2 which analysis dimension of Development of Skills. An overall analysis of students showed a high average students classification in regards to the dimensions included in the survey. The comparison has an active contribution to the development of essential skills for student’s future careers of engineers, such as communication skills. Besides the competencies, this comparison is a better understanding of contents, to apply them
in a real situation. There is a link between theory and practical and interdisciplinary.
Weakness
Compares of Hong Kong and Spain, one of the items stands out when looking at Figure 2, above is the below average obtained in the item related to formal meetings and role played by students in the team. However, students seem not to understand or recognise the imperative of adopting this precise position through the comparisons articles, arguing the informal strategies are preferred most of the times. This attitude can eventually by explained by the fact that students see each other daily and work on the projects together, which can make this formal meeting and roles unnecessary.
As disadvantages results, as methodology, the students from Hong Kong & Spain indicates of (1) Time required for the projects, (2) the need or difficulty to integrate the contents of the plan, (3) effort and impact put on projects in final grades.
Suggestions for Improvement
From figure 2, 3 and 4, it is impossible to conclude the dimension of comparison between students of engineer by Hong Kong and Spain seems more debilitated, with some aspects requiring greater attention by the coordination team. For coordination team, the current assessment method disclosed the need to clarify the evaluation criteria. Several factors contribute to team performance.
Co-operation involved everyone working together to achieved a common goal. Instead of worrying about little things everyone must see the big picture and work towards that together. The ultimate sound quality is respect for one another. Each person must realize that everyone is different and that everyone has something different to bring to the table. With respect, every person is heard, everyone’s idea and everyone is happy to work with one another.
FINDINGS
TEAMWORK DEVELOPMENT AND TRANSVERSAL COMPETENCES.
Generally in this task, we present data related to professionals’ perspective in regards competencies through projects in interaction with students. In data of analysis, four categories were identified as:-
‘ Technical competencies
Students that integrates the notion of diversity to focus on the different area of skills through the teamwork.
‘ Transversal competencies
Teamwork experiences develop a professional practice. Data also shows the leadership is one of the transversal competencies identified for improvement. This is consistent with studies of team management, motivation and conflict management that has related to teamwork.
‘ Curriculum students
This is significant learning on the teamwork competencies amongst engineering students to get related experiences motivations.
Discussion of Results
On the two research posed earlier. The results of this findings showed a positive impact on teamwork skills through systematic and identified encouraging behaviours of Hong Kong Chinese students. Moreover a team environment whereby since a large proportion of competencies allows to detect a lack of team working ability. Therefore, that could be supplemented or enhanced by more group work tasks and through the use of different cooperative learning techniques. On the other hand, it is greater ability to maintain performance in adverse situations of other programs analysed in this work.
Advantages and Disadvantages
There are few approach pros and cons for these Transversal Competences:-
Advantages
‘ Good for the students to gain or learn the new competencies skill such as skill works, leadership skill, and problem-solving skills and also teamwork ability. The labour market highly values it and improve employability and respond more efficiently.
‘ Help to detect the student weakness throughout evaluation of level competencies development.
‘ Contribute to resolve and improve the alignment of skills, Methodology and Evaluations.
Disadvantages
‘ The Evaluation and teaching competencies are main challenges for Professors.
‘ The educational model should demonstrate and consider due to concurrent changing society demand on the skill and attitude of future professional.
‘ Business today welcome more competence professional instead of experienced expert.
‘ Lack of Post-hoc analysis to identify the similarities of differences between years.
There are few approach advantages and disadvantages for this Teamwork Development:-
Advantages
‘ Monitoring the team progress.
‘ Communication and co-operation.
‘ Team commitment.
‘ Trust each other, the more people they work together, the more they gain in knowledge.

CONCLUSION
This critical comparative review of the two articles among the engineering students explored the strength and weakness of teamwork by Hong Kong and Spain engineers. Students acknowledge that promoted the development of essential competencies of a better understanding of real life application. Comparisons specified students give importance on teamwork and prefer to learn to work in teams. The main weakness by both University of students are referring to the formal role of team members within meetings, along with the needs for such formal meetings are not important. The main strengthen by both University of students are referring to Teamwork.
This study is from through experiences and reflection students can abstract principles about factors that contribute to high performing team. This project based on design work, accompanied by knowledge about teamwork that is reinforced consistently through reflective activities and experience of collaboration that student of engineering brings to foundational courses in design in several specific dimensions.
These findings suggested that with proper training and guidance, Hong Kong students could deal with conflicts in a constructive manner that could lead a higher team effectiveness. The important role of instructors in paying attention to the team process rather than just the product has highlighted whereby the development of transversal c
ompetences in the new engineering study program, the nine major components obtained allow to associate them with the competencies of each degree to study correlations between them. Thus, possible to generate information that is reliable, valid and easy to obtain.
