Motorbikes are mainly luxury goods in the developed world, where they are used mostly for recreational, as a lifestyle accessory or a symbol of personal identity.
In the Philippines, some companies is offering a better quality of materials in motorcycles as part of good and better organization. The company offers good and high-quality motorcycles as part of the organization.
As one of the biggest motorcycle company in Davao City which is the Starbike Corporation provide the highest customers satisfaction in terms of sales and services and giving full attention to the customers. There are many problems that the company encounters like losing of files and documents of their customers because of using manual operation and having malfunctions in testing the motorcycles.
StarBike Corporation is a manual purchasing system. The assistive technology made by the researches relates to the chosen organization through help and support for their daily transactions and operations. The Starbike Corporation was developed to improve the flow of business information about their companies that they sell a motorcycle in the Philippines and one of the best dealers nationwide. By improving the companies, Purchasing System help Starbike Corporation to improve the purchasing organization manage and facilitate it’s nationwide purchasing.
The Organization
Starbike Corporation is a dynamic, aggressive, diversified corporation established on May 2013. Currently, they have 54 stores/branch nationwide, still growing and coming up with the increasing motorcycle market demand.
The group selected the company because their place is accessible and because the people there, especially the manager, is willing to help and willing to cooperate to make this project to be successful.

This is the Organizational Structure of Starbike Corporation which is to see who manage the Starbike Toril Branch. At the top is the Manager, next is the Secretary, at the right side is the C.I Collector and after that is the Liaison Officer and the right side is the Branch Manager.

This is the Floor Plan of Starbike Toril Branch, this is the face of their office. At the right side is the table of the manager, in front of the manager’s table is their computer and at the center is the table of the Secretary and at the left side is they put some parts of motor in that place.

Mission
Open dealerships in strategically located areas and become the number 1 distributors of China Motorcycle products in the Philippines.
Business Environment
Starbike Corporation is located at Juan Dela Cruz St., Toril Davao City. Their office is enough for displaying their product which is motorcycle and parts of motorcycle.
The Starbike Corporation have many branches especially in the Philippines and their product is from China they operate internationally and their business in Toril branch is going bigger and good.
Starbike Toril branch have a manual system although they have a computer but they usually use it when encoding some important files. Their business is not fully technologies involvement, they don’t have a page that other people can see their products or other people that want to buy in online buying, because as of now some other people they want an online buying than going in the branch to buy of the products they want.
Critical Success Factor
Starbike Corporation have many competence in business because many business now is sailing motorcycles. Starbike wants their customer to be satisfied that they have a quality product that the customer will going back to their business because of their good products.
Starbike Corporation is working hard to make a good and quality product and to be one of the company that belongs in the top sailing motorcycles worldwide.
The Current System
The Starbike Corporation is manual system and the current system that they use is the cashiering system. It’s been known that the cashiering system is about the one who would collect or get the payment of the customer.
Description of Operations
The purchasing system describes the process of purchasing motorcycles from the company.
The first action is the filling out of application forms to purchase a motorcycle. Second, submit the application form. After the branch manager receives the application form, the manager of the company will evaluate the form.
Next, a credit investigator will interview and endorse the customer and pass it to the branch manager. The fifth action, the branch manager will submit the documents to the regional manager after, the branch manager will ask for the approval of the documents, the regional manager will decide if it’s yes or no.
If yes, the company will release the unit. If no, the transaction will be cancelled. The purchasing will continue if the regional manager approves. The customer will receive the purchase order and go to the cashier for the down-payment and receive the receipt to finish the transaction.
